The gunman, described as a man in his 40s or 50s, drove off following the shooting and remains at large.Well, we know he wasn't white because they'd have said so.

"The gunman, described as a man in his 40s or 50s ..." I bet they know more than that. A vague description like this is pretty much a guarantee they'll never find him.

I’m missing the logic here. Will shooting the restaurant employee make the missing corn reappear? Did the perp think the employee was holding out on him and there was a secret stash of corn? And just what kind of corn is it that it’s worth shooting someone over? mashed potatoes and gravy I might understand, but corn?

I actually went thru the drive thru at Kentucky Fried Chicken (back when it was called that) and they told me they were all out of CHICKEN.
So I went to Hardees. They were out of HAMBURGERS. But Hardees had chicken so all was not lost.
This was late 80s/early 90s as I remember.

I just went thru McDonalds Drive Thru and they had big signs announcing the return of the McRib for a limited time. I ordered a McRib Meal only to be told they were already out of them. Should I have shot someone?

Don’t you dare omit the capital “B”
