His "no" vote marked a blow to the resolution, the fate of which was originally expected to be decided on the Senate floor on Tuesday. But Sanders announced Tuesday evening that he would be pulling the resolution from the floor instead so he could work with the Biden administration to draft a bill the White House would agree to.
One of Padilla's main concerns, according to a spokesperson, was that the bill did not have President Joe Biden's support.

Hopefully, they would vote against it. The Iranians are fighting a proxy war in Yemen against the Saudis.
