Greatly shrunken, and not universally (NY Times, WSJ, and USA Today never really had one). But yes, Garfield, Dilbert, Blondie, Dennis the Menace, Peanuts (Reruns), Pickles, Zits are still in hundreds of papers. Barney Google, Thimble Theatre(Popeye) and Gasoline Alley made it to 100 years and are still going. Bring up Father and Katzenjammer Kids had the plug pulled, but only after VERY long runs.
