If the American public and the world gets confirmation that the CIA was involved in the assassination of JFK, that could be the first domino that topples the agency for good. It would be the cherry on top of the sundae if it were further disclosed that GHWB was an agency operative at the time. I saw a photo of him purportedly taken in Dealey Plaza at the time of the shooting, but I also read that he said he couldn’t remember where he was that day. I have a lot of Canadian relatives who told me exactly where they were just before 1:00 that day when they heard the news, so I find his statement unbelievable. In 1988, The Nation magazine published an article alleging that GHWB worked as a CIA operative during the 1960s, but Bush denied this claim.
From the outside looking in, the assassination of JFK continues to be an open wound for the American public and even the world. Getting the truth would go a long way to closing that wound. I haven’t been enjoying this rather lengthy movie, but I have to admit that it’s improving. The best part is that President Trump’s isn’t in office when this information comes out, so he can’t be blamed for it, but he will benefit from it when he finally assumes office again. He will have NO trouble persuading the American public that the 3 letter agencies (except maybe NSA) need to be dissolved. I assume that’s been part of the long-range plan, and what better way to develop support for it?
