I’d feel more comfortable if the Statement said “it” is no longer a Federal Employee. The statement as it reads does not eliminate the possibility “it” was shuffled to some other job at the taxpayers expense.
Oh I agree, there’s a big difference between getting fired or being allowed to quit in the fed gov.
If they let you quit you are eligible to be rehired.....I’ve seen it many times.
I guess we just need to hope the NY Post story is accurate about this person getting canned.
