Yep. I'd bet he dissed someone important in Washington, probably Hillary Clinton, and this turned into a case of "We'll show you what we can do if you cross us."

No wonder the Russians were so pissed when we threw him in prison.

I'm actually not that upset about the transfer. I not convinced he deserved to be rotting away in prison in the first place.
