You would think a mom who had traveled to outer space would get the importance of keeping windows closed.
They sent her into space AFTER she was keeping the windows open. She was also the one who wouldn't let Don execute Dr. Smith. Finally, she found her niche taking care of two VERY lovely maidens and Uncle Joe in Hooterville. She could never match Kate's cooking, though.

Kate’s cooking would be hard to beat. Didn’t she try to teach Lisa how to cook?
One of the funniest “I Love Lucy” episodes I ever saw was “Lucy Plays Cupid” with Bea Benaderet in the star supporting role as an old maid.
