If that books remains in the public library, it’s going to disappear at some point and may be needed by future generation. I’d rather have that book available to them. The library can always replace it, if they are so inclined. The typical library replaces hundreds of books every year, so it’s not that big of a deal in that sense.
Libraries DON'T replace all lost or damaged books with new copies of the same books.
If you doubt my words, consider:
Do you think that your local library still has the same core inventory it did in 1950?
Of have the librarians periodically "cleaned house?"
Regards,
You are delusional if you think a library is going to replace a book they would eventually censor.
Go buy the damn book yourself.
The most typical public library is the U.S. is brainwashed woke from top to bottom. If the staff believe that a non-fiction book in “false,” they can under their own written guidelines, remove the book form the collection. This used to be aimed in public libraries at outdated science texts. Today, people make up their own science and call it “science.” The Leftist media parrot the lies and the previous sciences books are out on their ear.
