Another words, they don’t have enough cities or any realistic cities to host the 2030 Winter Olympics.

Not too difficult. Host it in Salt Lake City again. They have a nice NBA arena for hockey and figure skating. It's not far from the ski resorts. Problem's solved.

Salt Lake City may decide it's not worth the trouble of hosting the Olympics again.

Your last sentence sums it up. In recent years fewer cities and countries are even submitting bids for hosting Olympic Games. The Olympic Committee simply has fewer places to choose from anymore.

No, everybody here wants it and all the venues are currently in use and ready to go

Nah, take the Winter Olympics back to Squaw Valley. That would make liberal heads absolutely explode. Wait! That could be a new event...see who can ski farthest before Woke Head explodes.

The old signs must be in storage somewhere...

I was there in 2002 for the SLC Olympic Games. Would love to see it return. I was in the arena when Sarah Hughes won the gold in women’s figure skating. I would like it even better in Calgary

That said- it would still be huge amounts of money even for cities with the infrastructure
