My guess, they don’t believe the world will end for them.

Yes, I like reading about the people who attempt K2. I know there’s that small window around May 10 that’s supposed to be optimum. I liked the book “Into Thin Air” and of course, I pull for everyone to make it, but they just don’t. It’s a rather crazy lottery.
And Everest. I’ve often thought it might be interesting to go to Kathmandu and see it, but that’s about it. And even the altitude of Kathmandu might make this flat lander dizzy. LOL
