He didn’t care about the degree of corruption. He could fix that. He was buying access to the world. An uncensored world via Starlink satellites.
Elon doesn’t build companies, he builds empires.
Elon had people on the inside, he knew exactly what he was doing and he knew things would not go in to the bit bucket that could never be recovered.
Starlink? That is going to be fun to watch.
Jeff Bezos has the Washington Post, he paid $250 million for. Elon paid about 44 billion for Twitter. Both are news outlets. Elon is definitely cleaning up twitter of bots, child porn and left wing censorship. So he is turning twitter rightward.
Bezos is hands off, but the people who run the Washington post keep it on a left wing slant, that Bezos does not object to.
How does he taste? Good Lord.
