Horrible for his wife to have witnessed this. Usually family members are escorted from the ER room if things are not going well. My guess is there was some kind of flammable accelerant present. I agree hand sanitizer used instead of defibrillator gel would be a good possibility.
Wow your deceased FIL had 6 heart attacks. Seems like God was giving him multiple chances of getting his soul set right. It’s tragic when people stubbornly choose the foolish ways to the end.
The one thing he was positively brilliant in was interior painting and he was badly asthmatic and then paints were all oil based. Miserable life if there was ever one. He was 4-F in WW2 because of his respiratory problems. His brothers and BIL were real John Wayne combat soldiers. So he got his wife pregnant seven times in seven years. His brothers had at most two children. He really believed his swarming brood of hungry ragged children proved he was ‘more of a man than them guys’.
Yup, you got that right. Things can heat up without O2. But add O2 and BAM!, thing blow up in a flash.
