A severe winter for the Northern Hemisphere might complicate power grids for western countries that are hellbent on disrupting energy flows by sanctioning Russia, forcing the world into the worst energy crisis in a generation.

Ukraine is going to have to suffer the next five months. Looks like they'll rather freeze to death than to submit to Moscow. Can't blame them.

You have an interesting observation.

Ukraine has home ice Advantage. They have shelter, the have wood, they have coal. Russians have none of that.

Did you ever listen to old vets, Russian Germans on the Russian or German side about the winter hell in tanks or on the ground?

All they have to do is just cut off their supply routes and let old man winter do the rest.
