I feel bad for the family, but the coyote is probably hungry..After all, between humans and fire on their turf ,it is getting harder for them to find food....

Coyotes don’t have trouble finding food. Humans that size are right in their prey wheelhouse.
My question is why is a 2 yr old outside without mom? Coyotes aren’t the only predators around.

What BS.

There is not a coyote alive that was there before humans.

They live a short life compared to a human.

Wild animals are always hungry they are on a consent search for food.

To even come close to controlling their population humans need to kill them by any means available.

Letting them have any type of protection leads to results like these.

If they would put out automatic feeders for the poor coyotes this may not happen.
