Complete nausea. Too bad a 2nd hand did not appear to write on the wall of the White House.

I’ll bet Nanzi choked a hot dog in the cloak room...
it’s how she got where she is today.
Kamala ate her’s in California.

ransomnote: I was puzzled to learn that Biden held his administration's first state dinner in a tent on the south lawn of the White House at night, when temperatures were about 37 degrees.

Weird.

Interesting that Nanzi brought her daughter... Lends credence to the idea that she wants her to take over ‘her seat’.

And McCarthy’s date was his mother. Well, I guess if he had taken Luntz, it would have been too much of a ‘clue’.

I know a lot of people who organize parties like this and larger for mega multinational corporations, and have been to a few.

If they had really good appetizers and other food stuffs before dinner it may not have been that extremely bad.

but I am pretty certain with open bars and expensive wine there were a lot of people who should not have driven anywhere afterwards.

I believe that reports of wiener talk were accurate

Ambassador Guifford described the event's focus on the relationship between Biden and Macron as a full display of America's magnificent soft power.

Our power must be very soft indeed if we are relying on Joe, Mika, Barnacle and Colbert to persuade foreign powers.

Biden stayed up until 1:00 AM? Did the regime stuff him with speed? A party in a tent, when it was 37 degrees outside? This whole article is unbelievable.

Why did Kevin take his mother to the dinner? He wants to stifle any more rumors about an affair or maybe his wife is mad at him?
In my mind Kevin only wants to be speaker far the power but not to lead in an ethicly superior way needed at this time.

Look at the title of the article again:

Inside Biden’s State Dinner: Hot Dog Talk and a Party That Lasted Until 1 A.M.

Okay I'll just say it. I think they served Macron hot dogs. Don’t look at me that way! It’s all there. It’s in the title of the Article! Hot Dogs!

Biden was supposed to act like it was normal to serve the French President hot dogs, so Pelosi’s daughter was told to ask him what’s the most American foods and he dutifully listed hot dogs, ice cream and spaghetti.

That’s why Pelosi piped up, “Oh yes, I have them everyday...”

That’s why Macron was bewildered. That's why the head table was discussing hot dogs during a state visit.

That’s why the smarmy Ambassador flitted around, watching Macron carefully to ensure that he enjoyed his meal, especially the “selection of American cheeses and triple-cooked butter potatoes”.

See, I thought it was odd Gifford worried that Macron would enjoy the cheeses and potatoes - no mention of the main meal. It’s like obsessing over the croutons and salad dressing and failing to mention the filet mignon or something that is difficult to prepare.

And triple-cooked butter potatoes? Now, are those instant mashed potatoes? It could be if Brandon’s going to claim that he wanted to show Macron the most popular American foods like hotdogs, ice cream etc. -if that’s ever revealed he can pander to middle America. “What’s good enough for our people is good enough for foreign heads of state”

Was the food late because vendors had to deliver them? Lackies had to steam them and they'd never prepared food on that scale before? :)

I mean - my hotdog theory makes more sense than the article as it stands!

It explains why Biden was said to be discussing sausages with Macron later.

Why else put ‘hot dogs’ in the article title?

Why else find it newsworthy, after 2 years of public shame, to describe Biden as a man of uncomplicated tastes?

The writer of the article seemed depressed and maybe it was because she couldn’t tell the public that the first State Dinner of the Biden administration was served in a tent at night in freezing temperatures, was poorly organized, served hot dogs and mashed potatoes etc.!!!!

The article says the venue served American brut rosé and chardonnay, and if hotdogs were served, likely beer, iced tea, Coke and lemonade.
