Be assured that super wealthy elites have bug out plans that will take them to "safe havens". I believe many Americans hold dual citizenship so if the SHTF against them - they can legally move to and live in another country.
Before private jets, it would have been difficult for the elites of a nation to evade the wrath of those they hurt. E.g. French & Russian revolutions, where elites paid with their blood and lost their fortunes.
