BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. - An argument between two men over a golf game led one golfer to bite the nose off the other in the parking lot of a casino, police said.
Mark Wells, 51, of Biloxi initially fled the scene in a Tesla before turning himself in, Bay St. Louis Police Chief Toby Schwartz said in a news release.
The nose was not found as the victim was taken to a hospital, WXXV-TV reported.

This has TSR all over it.
Is the victim going to wear a silver nose?
He must be a DEMOCRAT.
Golf is very unpleasant when the zen of the game is disturbed. I have played golf three times a week for the last ten years and I can count on one one hand the number of people I won’t play with. Unfortunately one of them is my next door neighbor who is a cheating bastard.
A hundred miles or so from Pensacola, and you’re there.
Definitely not Florida Man, but he might as well have been.
That's one of those pieces of information I thought I really didn't need but I'm glad I got anyway. Somewhere on that golf course someone is asking "Who nose?"
The only time I see people get heated is when they see slow play. They then blame every bad shot they make on those in front of them, even though the back up could be caused a foursome thats five groups ahead. A few weeks ago I had a guy go nuts on me after the 18th, and I was waiting on every hole. I thought we were headed for a fist fight until I talked him down. I was in shock with his rage.
That guy was teed off.
Two holes in one (bite). Impressive.
Slow play is frustrating. Not sure why he picked on you. Usually you can see ahead that the group in front of you is waiting for the group ahead to clear the green. I blame courses for scaling back on rangers to regulate play and the reduction of time between tee times.
We often have cart path only days around here in the SC low country. It rains a lot with no drainage. That slows play a lot. Especially when most of us are old men with bad knees.
He has earned honorary Florida Man status.
These days more people are angry, upset easily and more prone to violence. It happens anywhere there are people. It’s mentally ill world.

I used to keep score. I had a pretty decent handicap and when I went in the military we used to do a lot of best ball tournaments, scrambles and the like.
I judge my game by how many balls lost and to be honest I have lost very few golf balls. I can keep a ball in play the entire round and feel that I’ve played a good round, and there are many rounds that I have played where that ball was with me from start to finish.
There was one time that I worked an LPGA driving range towel monkey and the volunteers got a free game at Kingsmill in Williamsburg Virginia. It was a fine autumn day and I think I lost probably seven balls that day that hid under leaves, I was pissed, but that’s the most balls I think I have ever lost not only in one game but in a 5 or 6 years worth of rounds.
I par quite a bit and bogey some, never eagled and never holed in one.
I thoroughly enjoy the driving range and more often than not will work out on a bucket and then head home.
“Fifty bucks more says he eats it.”
Another fifty says he eats it.
The police arrive and they talk to the man. The man admits to the argument, but won't admit that he killed his wife with the golf club. Finally the detective loses his patience and screams "You swung and hit her seven time with a 9 iron!
The man says, "Ok! Ok! I'll confess, but only if you could write me down for five swings."
OK Freepers...
How many of you have been in a street fight where you were in a position to bit the nose off another man???
I admit... I’ve been in a few scraps in my younger days. A kick in the balls. A cheep jab. An eye gouge... BUT NEVER one where I was able to bite another man’s nose...
Exactly. This man needs to be offered honorary Florida citizenship.
