This isn't all that complicated. Men who identify as men, are not going to be interested in being like a woman, no matter how famous/brilliant/successful that woman is/was. They will instinctively desire to be like great MEN, because they themselves are a MAN.

For most feminine women who haven't been polluted by feminism, the same holds true. They instinctively admire and want to be like famous/brilliant/successful WOMEN. In some cases, being a "successful" woman might have little, if anything, to do with career accomplishments (gasp!).

This is just more identity politics b.s.

And as others have noted, there is a difference between “admiring” and “wanting to be like”.

They didn’t see be like, they said admire. That’s why it said, that you are not related to, i.e. one’s mother or grandmother.

I don't think it's just feminism. Women have always envied men, since the beginning of time. It's part of the curse:

"Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee." Genesis 3:16
