Gov. Brian Kemp (R) responded to the hoax calls regarding active shooters at public schools by warning would-be attackers that Georgia will have trained 400 new resource officers for school security by the end of this year.

He filed paperwork w/ the feds the other day. Speculation that he's doing it to run against ossoff, who has 4 more years and the fact that Kemp and his pals have implemented economic policies(tax breaks, etc) that are luring all sorts of liberal businesses to the state. Ergo, he's turning the state Blue without any help from the DNC and Schumer. And for that, he was rewarded. Hmmmmm....
Actually, I do hope it's for a 2024 run. Can't wait to see an actual in depth look at what a clown he really is. Maybe some investigation into all the dirty deals being done in secret, against the will of the people.
Amazing how he and Duncan are always on CNN. That's what cops call, a clue.

That is why we provided $30,000 for campus security to every single public school in the state my first year in office and why we have followed up with further school security grants since then. By the end of this year, we will also have trained over 400 school resource officers and provided them with further supports......

I can assure you, having worked with a few, that Georgia Troopers are NOT the Uvalde School Police or the SRO at Parkland HS. For the most part, some good ol' country boys that will do their job.
Also, he mentions troopers. Did the local sheriff and/or cops not show up? They would have been there faster than anyone.

That schools should be so dangerous that they need armed school security is an indictment of our culture and society and the public education system.
