> Ann Heche DIED BECAUSE OF THE BAD LIFE DECISIONS SHE MADE. <

Well, yes. Then the question becomes: Did she deserve it?

And that’s where you and I differ. Evil people deserve whatever harm their bad behavior causes them. The classic example is the murderer who is executed for his crime.

But Anne Heche was not evil. She was weak, and stupid, That is an entirely different category. She caused her own death. But to say she “deserved” to die is to put her on the exact same level as that murderer. Nope, that just doesn’t seem right.

As to the ‘Daily Mail’ banning you, I’m in favor of censorship only when it involves an overt call to violence. You didn’t do that. So I’m on your side there.

I appreciate your comment. The overall "...poor Ann Heche, boo hoo..." stuff got to me. One tries to do what is right and is eviscerated socially for it and then someone does the foolish things she did and huge numbers of people feel sorry for her. Something is not right there. No apologies.

"Did she deserve it?"

Well, she obviously she felt she did since she was the one who crashed her car, not once, but deliberately did it a second time, and for her, the second time was the charm. She screwed the people whose apartment building she set on fire. Selfish people always end up hurting others with their deliberate actions. I previously said that she hurt her kids with her alcoholism, but maybe the way to look at this is that her kids, and the people she associated with, won't have to put up with her drunken tantrums, and behavior outbursts anymore.

My oldest sister was an alcohoic who spent her whole adult life in a psychiatric center, and adult-assisted living homes. That isn't living, but had she been left on the street, she never would have lived as long as she did. When she was on the street drinking, she would get drunk and show up on the doorstep of friends of my mother's, who would either have to call the police to remove her, or drive her home. She'd piss away her SSI at the bar, or people would steal from her, then she'd call my other sister for money. During all her years at the different facilities, she would get into fights with other patients, and have to be sent out to a local hospital for evaluation. I actually think she enjoyed her one-on-one outside the home, and acted out more often because of it. I told her years ago that she would end up dying alone because of her alcoholism, and she did. Thankfully everyone else in our family had already passed by that time, so at least my parents, and siblings were spared from experiencing all the years she was institutionalized.
