Good conversation. Among other things, we resolved the misunderstanding about Twitter potentially being removed from the App Store. Tim was clear that Apple never considered doing so.
Musk threatened to make his own smartphones.
Tom Cook backed down.
Elon should move ahead with the smartphone idea.....I’d sure as hell buy one.
But Tim Cook is willing to remove AirDrop in order to help out his friends in the CCP. I don’t buy it - Leftists say one thing and then do the other.
I though Musk was going to go full on MAGA and bring those Chinese phone jobs to Texas.
Which is why I think Elon should move forward with producing a smartphone......if nothing else it’ll be leverage and a threat of competition to the Iphone.

I can’t wait to get off of iPhone. But I need to have it or an Android for work. In my mind, Apple is slightly less evil than Google.

Yep and I’m no fan of EVs by any stretch of the imagination but having a smartphone and EV all manufactured under the same company umbrella......would open all kinds of feature function options I would think.

Like a lot of powerful people (or organizations) they don’t think they will ever get caught and so they get careless.
Tim Cook may or may not know what information, conversations, phone calls or emails, were saved somewhere within Twitter offices, but you can be sure before it is all over, Musk will know.
The reason the media and social media platforms want those communication entities such as Musk’s twitter censored as disinformation is those entities are not part of their cohesive storyline baking clubhouse that aligns well with DNC messaging and anything that conflicts with the agendized disinformation they are putting out creates problems for them.

It’s no wonder the left is kicking and screaming about Elon owning Twitter.
Sunlight is the best disinfectant......the sooner it’s all exposed the better IMO.
I would love to see Musk do something like his Starlink that would encompass several things at once like your phone, TV and computer for a fraction of the cost of having all three through different companies.
I would bet that Elon has a secret team of engineers working on his new “E-Phone” design and operating system right now.
Apple is just another branch of the left with over priced products.
