They do think they’re gods, don’t they? Several cubic miles of lava (with the associated gases) come out of the volcano per hour and they think they can “prevent” that.

Sadly, I can’t remember which channel or who it was. The absolute stupidity of the statement caused an involuntary reaction that had me continue to press the ^ button....I was just so flabbergasted!!
