A standard response to the concern about Biden pressuring Twitter is that Trump did the same thing. Thatâd be valid if thereâs *any* evidence to suggest Trump had the same influence as Biden, but the real story is the extraordinary lengths to which Twitter went for just one side.
Iâm open-minded to the symmetric concern in the other direction if thereâs even a shred of evidence that Twitter or any other major social media company censored a damning, potentially outcome-altering piece of accurate information at Trumpâs request. None yet, Iâm still waiting.

In Twitterâs defense I bet it was no different there than in any newsroom in the country. What happened to journalism? Entirely biased political views & activism has replaced journalism. The ends justify the means even if it goes against everything the institution once stood for.
