She was a skeptic who turned into - I don’t want to say a believer - but she definitely thought something weird was going on.
Thin places...they have been in folklore for ages...where two worlds overlap. What if it is true? What if there are parallel universes and, whether accidentally or with intent, things/visitors/phenomena pass through?
It would explain much. Why so much of the fantastic seems to just vanish. There are hundreds of stories of tracking some creature or another and the footsteps just end. The thousands of reports of UAP that just seem to vanish while being observed.

Moreover, quantum mechanics reveals that the fundamental substance of existence requires intelligent life and its expression as consciousness. This refutes any conception of the world as solely material in nature. As the great German physicist Max Planck offered, "I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness. Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness."
It seems inescapable that other forms of intelligent life exist and might sometimes find or make portals so as to pass back and forth to our world at will. This may be the best explanation for the Beast of Bray Road, Bigfoot, ETs, and similar paranormal entities.
