I’m a few decades behind, 1965 and 1982.

Whenever that Willys gets put together, the only electronics in will be the aftermarket distributor.

After Christmas I hope I can finally start hitting it hard.

The killer is the body tub. The original is rusted and beaten up.

As much as I don’t want to, getting one of those MD Juan bodies is likely. I guess I will learn some sheet metal as I go.

A “donor tub” for that model and year, will be hard to find, in good condition and for a decent price. Best of luck with your projects.

I’ve had Jeep Grand Cherokees since 1978, and my last one, a GC Laredo, went 395,000 miles before rust started on the 4 doors’ bottoms. Traded it in on this 2019 Supercharged HEMI, and love the thrill of wasting almost everything else on the road.

At 73, I still have “the need for speed”. Heh.
