• Is that time lapse, because his hand isn't moving.
• Or were all those meteors at once?
• And is she holding some kind of a star wand?
• Or is it some kind of camera refraction that caused a perfect star shape?

It seems to be an edited photo with the stars removed and composited with another image showing everything else. Whether or not there are additional composites added, we’ll never know.
