The left only knows how to tear things down.
The typical school board election is decided by a few hundred votes, at most.
VERY few of us will really have our votes matter in a Presidential election; only in swing states; but EVERY one of us can have a *massive* impact on the things that actually affect us as much or more- school board, city, and county races; some of which are decided by a dozen votes.
“All politics is local”.
The GOP has kicked the can on K-12 reform for decades in fear of the teaches union. It’s now or never, clearly it’s a political organization especially highlighted by Randi Weingarden these past months.
Step it up GOP, get r’ done.
Aboslutely.
I am retired, but taught computer science for 20 years at a university after I retired from the USAF.
I think I am going to see about organizing a group of people who want to teach kids freedom-based civics—that is, anti-socialism/communism.
I have no problem with equal rights for everyone, but certain people should not get special treatment, just as it was wrong for only certain peoples in the past, like aristocracy, or Hindu castes, or Mandarinism, or Shinto royalty, or even tribal strongmen.
What I mean is, white Anglo-Saxon Chrisitan males have NO sole responsibility to oppressed peoples of the past any more than any other elites that ruled almost every part of humanity for thousands of years. Kids need to know that this is blatantly racist as anything else.
The idea of systemic racism needs to be vigorously opposed is also important.
How we teach our children really matters, as you can bet the lessons they’re learning now are deadly and toxic.
