I spent 3 hours 2 weeks ago tearing out and burning 40+++ items that were dead or dying. Half my paddock opened way up. Next door one will be marked with ribbon soon for similar cleanup.

My first thought is who is to blame for Sagebrush destruction, people? And how many illegals are in the state? Deport them, and you reduce the population significantly, which will reduce the impact on Sagebrush. A win all around.

I worked for a city in eastern Washington 1993 when one of their 10 million gallon water tanks faild a flushed down the hillside wiping out several hundred okd growth sagebrush plants (trees?). The city had to pay a $40,000 fine to the DNR
