My older son and I got COVID but had no symptoms. I had us tested 6 months later for antibodies to see if we really had COVID and we were chock full of antibodies. There is a very salient item of information that you are neglecting to state.

The wife has sarcoidosis.
The son who was hospitalized doesn’t have any comorbidites.
