I never heard about any of that stuff. I have a lot of respect for Charlie Kirk and Turning Point for bringing the conservative message to younger folks. Last year, I attended a Trump rally in Phoenix that was sponsored by Turning Point, and was impressed at how well it was run and how the Turning Point staff treated the guests.
His form of conservatism is more like that of CPAC, i.e. big tent that is ultimately dominated by neocons. They are very sensitive to "optics" and anyone that associates with someone they dislike, even if that person didn't do or say anything wrong themselves is banished.
Candace Owens was at one time banished by TP, and this was way before the Ye stuff. Fuentes, and anyone who even took a picture with Fuentes, was also banned. I believe Michelle was also on their lifetime ban list.
They spend very little time talking about immigration, and just have the typical Romney-esque talking points of lower taxes, less regulation, etc.
For those who want the cancer that is CPAC to spread throughout the college world, I guess it's a great thing.
The College Republicans and YAF don't seem to have done much lately, so I guess another worthless quasi-conservative college organization can't hurt.
