You are implying in one sense that withdrawing or moving is proof the Ukraine is winning the war. I point out it’s losing the war and you double down on what is meant by troop movements. It simply doesn’t matter to you that the Ukraine blew it’s own bridge, which degrades access for all citizens. It then blamed Russia, which fans the fake war propaganda.

So you’re comfortable with the Ukraine losing, the Ukraine lying, the Ukraine blowing it’s own bridge and blaming Putin. You just want to focus on WHY the troops moved.

So to you the lie that the Ukraine took ground is more important than the Ukraine blew the bridge so the Russians avoided their trap. At least you are consistent, I guess.

Russia will control Kherson both next week and for as long as any of us are alive 11/4/2022, 1:14:29 AM · 24 of 33
Kazan to Farmerbob

“Russia WILL control everything east of the Dnieper river and the entire Black Seas coastline by the time this war is over. “

“Russia will possess everything west of the Dnieper river at minimum.”

Military specialists have been basing their predictions on standard warfare wherein a leader will stop fighting when he has lost most of his army and his enemy still has plenty and outnumbers them by an amount that spells defeat.

Those analysts also base their predictions on remaining weapons of both sides, and conduct of each side (how well they fight).

They also expect to a certain degree that a leader would not throw his soldiers and his citizens into a wood chipper for political reasons.

Zelensky has not behaved like a leader from the start. He doesn't care if they don't have the weapons they need, if he's already conscripted so many citizens that there aren't enough left. He doesn't care that millions of his citizens are without heat, light or water and he continues to attack Putin's army even as the number of citizens in the dark increases. Zelensky will fight as long  as his NATO handlers tell him to keep doing it, against all military history studied thus far. He's a puppet dictator.

The military analysts initially evaluated chances of Russia rolling over the Ukraine based on their knowledge of arms and capacity. They didn't realize NATO is running the core or upper level of deployments. So NATO is fighting Russia using Ukrainians as cannon fodder. Still, analysts continue to see multiple signs of utter failure as darkness falls over the Ukraine, winter sets in, hardware donations from NATO slow down and the Ukrainians simply run out of cannon fodder. And still Zelensky fights. He hopes to escape to the mansions he's been given use of, but I suspect his NATO handlers will 'suicide' him to close leaks.

So you don’t care about Ukrainians and only care about Zelensky, his dwindling Nazi soldiers? See, I did NOT see that coming. I said military analysts were wrong because they thought Zelensky would not destroy his people and army and infrastructure to keep the Ukrainian moneylaundering afloat. It does these analysts credit that they assumed that Zelensky possessed a speck of humanity or a small sliver of decency.

SO the analysts were wrong to think Zelensky would not expend all lives around him with full knowledge that he cannot win.

It doesn’t matter to you that Zelensky is murdering his people, it just matters to you that Analysts never guessed how low he would go to do so.

Bye, bye Kiev, hello Cote D’Azur: As Westerners send aid, here’s how Ukraine’s corrupt elites are profiting from the conflict

"While Ukraine has undergone a general mobilization affecting all men under the age of 60, many former and current high-ranking officials, politicians, businessmen, and oligarchs have moved to safety abroad – mainly to the EU.

The mass flight of Ukrainian elites started even prior to the armed conflict. On February 14, 2022, 37 deputies from the Ukrainian president’s parliamentary faction “Servant of the People” suddenly went “missing.” Had MPs not been banned from leaving the country the very next day, others would’ve definitely joined them. Meanwhile, former officials and oligarchs enjoyed more freedom to move around. According to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, 20 business jets took off from Kiev’s Boryspol airport on the 14th as well."

Zelensky is a dictator with a Nazi army - the public knows what happens to people who disobey him.

How to win a war?

Have a strong meme game.

Lose Europe’s largest nuclear power plant to your opponent.

Lose countrywide access to electricity, water and heating - but post selfies on Twitter when it happens.

Drop your flag on Snake Island.

Claim your best fighter pilot is the Ghost of Kyiv

Have a kick ass olive green t-shirt.

Do a Vogue photoshoot.

Issue a few commemorative stamps while taking selfies beside it.

Have a Hollywood ass give you an Oscar.

Beg. Beg more. Beg relentlessly.

Confuse the enemy then blame the enemy by using SAM’s to attack your own apartment complexes and, if needed, Poland.

Employ women to knock down Russian drones from a balcony with jars of pickles.

Continually insist that you are shooting down 100% of the Russian missiles and drones hitting Kyiv while at the same time, repeatedly claiming that Russia is out of missiles and drones.

I know I missed some.....

The only thing that is key to Ukraine battles is how much more money will the U.S. give to Ukraine. It’s their modus operandi.

ransomware "The Ukraine lost the war a long time ago and is just dragging citizens through hardship"

Map of ukraine on March 24th

Map of ukraine on November 24th

Looks like it is Russia that lost the war and is losing it steadily

Let's list the Russian failures ok?

  1. Initial goal - to overthrow Zelenskyy and install a pro-Russian puppet --> FAIL
Zelensky had 20% approval rating before putin invaded. He was going to lose re-election in 2023 and probably be replaced with someone friendlier to Moscow. Instead Putin boosted his popularity by invading

In addition Russia lost its elite paratrooopers, the VDV, in the failed battle of Hostomel airport and then lost hundreds of tanks due to sucky logistics

  2. Weaken NATO --> another putin FAIL
NATO was moribund before Putin's invasion of Ukraine

    But after Putin invaded Ukraine
    1. Finland and Sweden applied to join
    2. NATO is more united than it has been in decades
    3. NATO countries are ramping up their military spends
    4. NATO countries are upgrading their weaponry - the decades old weapons they ave to Ukraine are smashing Russia's military, imagine what modern weaponry would do to Putin's army!?
    5. NATO's strategy is changed - they are putting more troops in the front-line Baltic states and Poland's east.

  3. Grab Donbass - partial failure
Right now the Russians lost 25% of Kherson, including its capital city. the Ukrainians control 44% of Zaporizhia (and its capital city), 20% of Donetsk (and getting close to capturing ITS capital city of Donetsk) -- Russia controls 98% of Luhansk though. And all of these were supposedly incorporated into Russia - Russia isn't even able to control THOSE!
  4. Show Russia's weaponry to the world -- FAIL. Anyone looking at Russia's weapons is going to remark how pathetic they are. Expect weaponry sales (a big chunk of Russian exports that aren't mineral extracts) to fall

Total failure - if Russia had any sense it would have pulled out or retreateated back to the Donetsk People's republic and the Luhansk People's republic back in April

Klistchko's a tough guy, and he's stayed on task, but now even he is telling people to leave Kiev.

This doesn't sound like winning. A lot of people who have held on in Kiev now have to leave. Apartment buildings with many floors, no running water, no heat and no electricity are really not livable in December in Ukraine.

He's putting a brave spin on it and telling people to go to the "suburbs", but really how many people in suburbs have water that doesn't depend on electricity and some way to heat without electricity or gas. I suspect not many.

And, psychologically if you are going to leave your home to be safe, finally, you are going somewhere outside of Ukraine at this point.

Millions more refugees are going to pour into Poland, Romania and other bordering countries. This will increase the pressure on Zelensky to negotiate a cease-fire, truce or some other settlement fairly soon.

Europe has been willing to support Ukraine, but they aren't going to have total collapse in their countries over his war.

Kyiv's mayor tells residents to consider temporarily moving to city's outskirts as Russian missiles target basic utilities

Meanwhile, people in Europe are all suffering too. The ridiculously stupid sanctions regime dreamed up by Biden and his crack team are having devastating impact on normal Europeans. Thus you see widespread protests, which, like the refugee crisis, will escalate as the weather worsens, the ability to live life declines all over Europe.

(BTW Commie Mommy, this is the Financial Times, hardly a pro-Putin paper).

‘Ordinary Germans are paying’: anti-war protests stretch across central Europe

Putin has turned it into a war of attrition. Russia wins wars of attrition, pretty much every time. Ask Hitler, Napolean, the Swedes and the Poles. All have frozen to death and lost wars as Russia "retreats", which is what you Ukraine boosters keep implausibly claiming is proof of pending victory.

Nope. Evenyone is tiring of the Zelinksy show. It's not going to be renewed for another season.

Melitopol has long been the most obvious place to attack. Anyone looking at a map can see that. imho it should have been attacked when the russians were still on the west side of the dneiper.
now the russians are heavily fortifying it with troops they’ve redeployed from west of the dneiper. No surprise if the Ukes hit melitopol

Attacking Melitopol is so obvious, the Ukies may attack at a different place. If they are announcing that they will attack Melitopol, it probably means to expect something different. The weather is getting colder, and the Ruskies will die of hypothermia, especially if the Ukies can keep hitting the supply lines. That presents more opportunities for a counter attack in more places.
