Wrll...if there is NO OTHER OPTION...then better than near instant death at humane society or SPLC...what happened to cats in the early 1900s? PS..we have 2 rescued ferals

Sometimes the choices are very difficult. We get cats dumped here. Someone dumped a long-haired butterscotch kitty. We tried to catch it but it was terrified. Because it wasn't being brushed, it's fur became matted and it had difficulty walking. We kept trying to feed it and catch it but we eventually found it torn to pieces by another animal.

Shelters are asking for at least $100 to surrender an animal. In hard economic times, pets can pay a very high price.
