Saccharin has a colorful history. In 2010 saccharin was declared ok by the EPA, after claims of carcinogenic issues over many years. Other than the health concerns decades ago, saccharin has a bitter aftertaste which many find unpleasant for a sweetener.
I never liked the taste of those pink packets of sweet n low and remember my grandma thinking it was healthier than sugar back then. She listened to the so called experts lol.
