Iirc the closest star is like 4.3 light years away.

The next closest star, of course.

To put this distance in perspective, if you could scale our sun down to the size of a pea, our closest stellar neighbor, Proxima Centauri would be about the size of a peppercorn.

They would be separated by a distance of 118 miles.

Space is really, really big.

Space is big. You just won’t believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it’s a long way down the road to the chemist’s, but that’s just peanuts to space.
