I have always been a big believer in dressing to your strengths, enhancing those things that are assets, and not drawing attention to your liabilities.

Us fat guys wearing things we shouldn’t, is often a crime against nature. Overweight guys in T-shirts is an abomination of appearance. Wear a sharp untucked, non-form fitting shirt with a straight bottom. Clean and pressed. Women too, sometimes fail egregiously more so. I am thinking of yoga pants on the wrong female. Wearing a Moo-moo is suicide, but there are plenty of sharp looking clothes that enhance the female person.

One of the things I adore about my wife is she dresses in this fashion...I can always be proud of her appearance when I am with her, as she is not at all inclined to fashion, but more the classics, especially those that fit.

Someone who is out of shape but has great personal skills can go a long way by de-emphasizing their physical liabilities and promoting those things that work in their favor.

oh yeah. if i’m out with my husband and vice versa, we dress nice.
Unless we’re going to pick up more mulch at Lowe’s.
and we joke with each other when we see hideous looking seniors “please don’t leave me”

Wear a sharp untucked, non-form fitting shirt with a straight bottom.

Would that include a Polo shirt, by any chance (with the collar turned DOWN, of course), in your estimation?
