Where he was an extremely wealthy “beautiful person” interacting with other “beautiful people” it is not unsurprising his address book is filled with names people know.

He traveled in those circles. He had tons of money and even famous people want to be around that.

Yes. Well, maybe not ‘generic’.
This was a list of influential people they made contact with. It does not mean there was anything going on, or even meeting in person. It’s a big more generic to the business they were in and probably not a personal address book, which is why I suspect they left Bill Clinton off of it. He was on another level.
