I’m guessing these rankings are subject to change, depending on how the item is made.

I’ve tasted some really bad turkey over the years. If that’s what a person is used to, they might have an aversion to turkey because of it. (Fortunately, my family is good at roasting a turkey.)

My SIL has a lot of food issues because of the way she grew up. When we first met her, one of the things she refused to eat was ham. Now she’s happy to eat it if one of us cooked it, but the ham her own mother prepares makes her throw up.

I’m always curious about why people like or dislike certain foods. How much of that is because of how the food was prepared? How much is due to psychological factors? How much is due to low-grade intolerances or mild allergies? And how much is just because that’s how their taste buds are?

I doubt we’ll ever truly know.

Yeah, a tough and dry slice of turkey breast isn’t palatable without heavy wrapping in mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce.

I think a lot of dislikes are because of bad cooks, I love lamb many loath it cuz mom offed it up.
