Out of curiosity, what are your cholesterol levels? Mine have been north of 250 ever since I first got tested about 40 years ago. I am now 71, and have a a few lesions in the vascular system around my heart. As I understand it, 90% of people over 70 have that development, so I consider it somewhat “normal.” My doctor has been pushing me for years to take a stand, but I am reluctant to do that due to some of the things you mentioned. Exercise, good diet, adequate sleep, and an adequate vitamins/supplement regimen.
