We do it with m88 tank retrival

Who knew? You are saying that the US sends an M88 tank retriever out to get tanks that are, in the case of recent Russian tank losses, about 10 miles behind enemy lines with a mile wide river. Is the M88 amphibious?

The M88 is used to recover stuck or disabled tanks that are still in areas controlled by the US military. I doubt anyone has willingly driven one miles behind the line of contact in a place where the enemy has very effective surveillance and anti-armor weapons.
