Certainly as a feint. I'm pretty skeptical of a deliberate river crossing, though. Sure, they could get some guys over in small boats, but they'd have no route to retreat, no supply line, and a small bridgehead would get absolutely hammered by Russian artillery. Reportedly, the Ukies have landed on the Kinburn Spit in Southern Mikolaiv province:
Ukraine says military operation underway on left bank of Dnipro River Now, that could be just propaganda, but its a narrow enough peninsula that the Ukies could get a bridgehead there and hold it with enough air and HIMARS support.
From what I’ve seen, that spit is very small, very flat, and wide-open. It would be suicide by artillery if they did anything more than just do a photo op and then leave.
