In a stunning turn of events, The Walt Disney Co. says that Bob Chapek will step down as CEO, with Bob Iger returning to lead the company.

Meanwhile, I thought Iger was considering going into politics. I guess not anymore. The Board of Directors demands a steady hand at this fiscally shaky time.

Iger did that and is back to finish the job. Iger had creative control over EVERYTHING until this year.
Chapek was starting to gain control of the creative side and was in the midst of expunging the woke elements.
Now Iger is back to finish the job.
