I think that is always Zelensky’s plan....stand in no matter how bad it gets. (13,000 KIA in October alone.)

Though interestingly, when some of the Polish troops (dressed in Ukraine uniforms currently about 10,000 in Ukraine) were sent into a particularly lethal battle they refused. Nazi troops threatened them so the Poles killed the Nazi troops. Ukraine decided to keep it quiet because they badly need the Polish troops. (source: Col. MacGregor)
