We will see in a few weeks if not days who is really winning. If Russia is on the ropes—the bombings will stop and the Russian army stand down for the winter, letting Ukraine keep up the attack and take The Donbass, it will be more fall backs to the border. If Ukraine is on the ropes, we shall see a Russian advance and more bombings. In any case—it will be over by Christmas, New Years at Best. If Ukraine wins, Mr. Zelenkeyy will get Sevastopol for Christmas. If Russia wins, Putin gets Kiev as a gift, maybe with Zelensky’s head in a basket. Only good thing—NO WW III.
Thank you.
Keep smoking that hopium.
Barring either an economic collapse by Russia, or NATO pulling the rug out from under Ukraine, there will be at most offensives in the northern or central fronts before new years. This boils down to the fact that an opposed offensive requires a significant cache of supplies, and supply depots take time to build up and in practice the offensive is limited by distance from that forward supply base. I mostly see a long cold miserable winter for most of eastern Europe (especially Ukraine and Russia)
