Russia’s “Special Military Operation”, which began on Feb. 24, is entering its fourth month. Despite stiffer than expected Ukrainian resistance (bolstered by billions of dollars of western military assistance and accurate, real-time battlefield intelligence by the U.S. and other NATO members) Russia is winning the war on the ground, and in a big way.

The history of the conflict so far has proven Rudskoy correct — no amount of western military aid has been able to prevent Russia from achieving its military objective of liberating the entire territories of both Lugansk and Donetsk.
Let's see how things have actually gone since March, Ritter's declarations above, and today:

Why didn’t commentators like Scott Ritter predict the Russian retreat from Kiev, Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Nikolaev, Snake Island, Kharkov and Kherson?
How many months of being wrong do you give a guy like Ritter before you question his judgement in this arena?

Why do people put stock in his opinion on this conflict when the opposite of what declares becomes true?
Putin started this war trying to seize territory. Do you think he doesn’t care about the territory in the Crimea?

Anyone who thinks Russia is winning needs to go back and watch the Russian invasion videos of Kiev from February/Early March. They had an incredibly impressive invasion force, kicking butt and taking names.
All that is completely and totally smashed, now. All those tanks, all those APCs, all those trucks, all those men, smashed.
The current Russian army is a hollow shell of the Feb 24th Russia army.
