Not that I don’t think Biden and his son need to be investigated, charged, and convicted. I wish the first things on the agenda should be fixing the broken election system and stopping the flow of money to Ukraine.

I’m no fan of James Comer (R-KY). He’s a moderate Republican.
I think most of the commenters on this thread are missing the point. We need these hearings to expose Biden and make the charges a matter of public record. It’s important because a historical record makes it more difficult for historians to portray Biden as anything other than a corrupt politician.

This is rather premature as Republicans don’t actually take control of the house until January. Would be better if they kept their mouth shut and got the investigations in order. I listen to some of the announcements live this morning, and they were shrill and rushed and not impressive. Overall, they came across is purely political.
