I can very strongly recommend this book to you: “1775: A Good Year for Revolution”.

https://www.amazon.com/1775-Good-Revolution-Kevin-Phillips/dp/0670025127/ref=sr_1_1?crid=BMDNSKIY83I7&keywords=1775+a+good+year+for+revolution&qid=1668699670&sprefix=1775+%2Caps%2C388&sr=8-1

The author is a demographer by trade, and the book is an extremely granular survey of the Colonies on the eve of Revolution. The religions in various areas, the ethnic heritage and attitudes of the peoples in the various areas. Why were some people so eager to rebel, while others more hestitant? I loaned my copy to my Dad, who said it was like drinking water out of a firehose. It’s incredibly dense with data. If you’re interested in such subjects, it’s an eye opener.
