Massie is the only sane fiscal conservative in Congress. The only one that tried to stand up against Trump’s CARES boondoggle too, and he got flamed for it by everyone, especially Trump.

Biden’s latest Ukraine spending request will put the US Congress on a trajectory to spend TWICE as much money on Ukraine as we spend on roads and bridges in a year.

No one can tell you where it’s all gone or going.

Demand a halt. Demand an audit. Demand an Inspector General.

The U.S. Treasury needs a break. Somebody needs to kick the Ukies’ ass for a while. This is getting really old. Biden can’t even come up with a decent war. This one has turned to sh*t and is a waste of U.S. taxpayer dollars.

Meanwhile inflation will continue to rise, gas prices will continue to go up, heating and electricity bills will steadily increase, veterans sleep on the street with access to garbage underfunded healthcare, some states have flammable water, some cities have poop and dirty needles all over the streets, crime and criminal offenses amount to pure anarchy like environments while in others areas crime is sky-high. But hey, at least Ukraine got $91.3 billion, more than the Russian military budget for 2021/2022 and double the US’s average annual expenditure for its own war in Afghanistan.

Com'n man! We have to destroy Ukraine's infrastructure before we rebuild America's infrastructure.

It's called The Biden Doctrine

Included in that spending is a General Dynamics contract to convert NATO’s M1 tanks from defensive to offensive weapons. General Dynamics has promised for $500,000 per tank within 6 months a 90% success rate teaching tank drivers where forward gear in the shifting pattern is.

And for only a small fraction of that money we could have finished the wall.

What are they so desperate to keep hidden in Ukraine? It’s not just the Democrats. Ukraine is the heart of money laundering for both sides of the aisle. And perhaps a lot worse.

Save those billions of dollars!! They are better spent on climate change, CRT, and gender issues, which issues need every penny to bolster the trillions already committed! Whats the deaths of millions of Ukrainians at Russian hands have to do with us? We are sanctimonious penny-pinching Americans!

to spend TWICE as much money on Ukraine as we spend on roads and bridges in a year.

One of the reasons I will need to change from a small sedan to a larger SUV type truck as government is no longer doing what they are supposed to do and instead are redirecting funds to social issues. People will only support so many billion dollar bond initiatives to spend on core responsibilities.

When they spend money on roads and bridges, they have to actually have construction company fronts to move equipment and dirt around and pretend to do work before they get their kickbacks.

With Ukraine money, it’s just moving cash around. Much easier.

We have invested many trillions over the years to counter the potential threat the Soviet Union and then Russia presented. The stronger they are, the stronger we have to be, and the more expensive it gets.

What is happening now is a massive degradation of Russian military capability. They have lost huge numbers of tanks, APC's, artillery tubes, etc., and don't really have the capacity to replace them any time in the foreseeable future. They've burned through most of the operational equipment that had been stored since the Soviet era, and accordingly are becoming less of a military power as each day goes on. And all of this is happening without the loss of life of a single U.S. soldier.

The way I look at it, the amount of money we're spending to achieve this degradation of Russian military capability is a massive bargain. Reducing the military threat to Europe posed by Russia will enable us to dedicate a higher percentage of our military capability to other potential adversaries, such as China.

I wouldn't want to commit U.S. troops to this war, and I wouldn't want to continue this level of military support for an indefinite number of years into the future. But right now, it's a bargain.
