NATO’s forward presence comprises eight multinational battlegroups, provided by framework nations and other contributing Allies on a voluntary, fully sustainable and rotational basis. The battlegroups operate in concert with national home defence forces and are present at all times in the host countries.

The battlegroups are not identical; their size and composition are tailored to specific geographic factors and threats. Overall, military requirements guide each battlegroup’s composition. Today, troops and personnel from all Allies serve, train and exercise together, representing a strong expression of Alliance unity and solidarity.

As of October 2022, the eight battlegroups are composed of the following Allies:

How close to WWIII did we come yesterday. Apparently NATO’s eastern flank looks like the south of England in May of ‘44 or Poland, June of ‘41. What if that errant missile had landed on the headquarters of the 101st Airborne?

” Apparently NATO’s eastern flank looks like the south of England in May of ‘44 or Poland, June of ‘41.”

And Russia doesn’t maintain a permanent military presence on the borders of the rest of Europe?

Maybe Russia should stop flinging missiles around then.

Maybe Russia, Ukraine and NATO should all stop firing missiles before VegPres or Putin or Winston Zelensky blows up the world during some brinksmanship kabuki. But that wouldn’t accomplish the globalists’ goals or satiate the neocon bloodlust, would it?

If Russia hadn't fired salvos of missiles, no missile would have struck Poland.

Russia is clearly the aggressor here, and there haven't been any provocations of Russia unless you accept its delusions of imperial grandeur.

You just don’t get it. Does it matter who the aggressor is? Does it matter who the nimrod who accidentally launched or misaimed the missile is? My grandchildren are just as dead after the war crosses the nuclear threshold. The only relevant question is what in hell are we doing sitting in this tinder box while VegPres plays with his matches.

No one is going to launch a nuke over Ukraine, and everyone knows that. Even if the US intervened directly, without invading Russian territory within its recognized borders, no nukes would fly. It's simply not in anyone's interests, barring a direct threat to to Russia's national existence, which this is not.

In any case, the nukes have always been there, or did you forget?

Oh yeah, this eyeball to eye to eyeball, at our failsafe positions, with our forces doubled in size while your VegPres promises regime change in Moscow has been the norm for 70 years. MAD, what’s MAD. It’s vapid, empty headed idiocy like yours and your DC warmongering fellow travelers who’ll have the blood of grandchildren on their dead hands. F’n morons!
