Stealing from a mailbox is a federal crime.
That was a “lady”? Looked like a feminist Dem female with an attitude that she can do anything she wants. If you had confronted her, she would have called the cops on you and accused you of harassing her.
The question of course is why did you have a ballot in the mail box? You should vote in person. If she hadn’t stolen your ballot, the USPS would have done the job. This is just called redundancy.

Mailing fraudulent ballots is also mail fraud, which has some very severe penalties. One count for every ballot put into the mail. Six ballots could get you thirty years in club fed.

For mailed in ballot:
a) Scan your ballot - saved as a PDF file and also a paper copy
b) PAY for a USPS Certified Slip service - applied to the ballot envelope.
Those are ideas that were posted to FR, around early November 2020.
Great point. Also, there may be a public database of voters accessible they the local election board.
