Not true about religious folks.
Religion has been around forever. Human interest in it appears to ebb and flow.
The funny thing about religion is that humans have a hole inside that only "belief" in God (not religion, per se) can fill.
That said, some people try to fill that hole with money, some with sensual pleasure, some with food, some with drugs/alcohol, etc.
But the hole is still always there.
As an aside, the fact that a relatively young person isn't interested in "religion" while he is young is not indicative of his interest in religion as he gets older. After the frivolities of youth start to add up and a person starts to contemplate "meaning" and why it is missing in his life, he changes. He stops being immortal and starts to become a human being.
Darn, I read the headline and thought it meant multiple partners while you are married. Was ready to share with my wife until I read the article..(just kidding)
Seriously, there appears to be a direct correlation when you look at the chart. But it’s also common sense. People who have more partners are least likely to be committed to one partner. Duh!
This appears to be one of those psychological studies like “People who drink alcohol are more likely to get drunk!”
And if you look at the data chart, it suggests nothing of the kind.

Any more than 10 partners, and you are looking at somebody who is impossible for any normal man to please.
What that is a symptom of, is a woman who likes going after men above her league, who will be fine with having sex with her until they get somebody better. Then she gets dumped until she flings herself at some other guy who is above her league.
Hopefully the “after marriage” part means post marriage as in the marriage doesn’t exist anymore either do to death or divorce and not, I’m married and will continue to bang anyone with a heartbeat.
If it’s the former rather than the later, then I would say multiple partners after marriage means a more stable marriage if a new marriage does take place.
The reason being the post marriage man probably pays far more attention to the HOT/CRAZY MATRIX when settling down with a 2nd partner.
There is absolutely nothing positive about either sex having had numbers of sex partners.
Venereal diseases are real, and attachments are made and broken, hurting future chances at true commitment. For the former, as many as one out of every two people have some form of communicable STD. For the latter, it’s not unlike what happens to the heart of someone who is deeply wounded from a divorce—they don’t trust to the same level again.
This also shows they did not value a life in Christ.
This stuff is so secular and unhealthy. Swipe left or right today, and what, exactly do you get out of that hook up but a waste of valuable time that could have been spent finding a partner who could be a good match—not just a random sexual encounter and a potential free meal (or potential doubled cost for the man).

True enough. I’ve seen it too. And the rate of return is very high.
I would think conversely the opposite is true, if a man has more than 10 sexual partners and ends up marrying a woman with 0 or less than 2 is probably not going to be satisfied with an inexperienced partner.
Obviously, exceptions exist, I’m speaking in generalities.
Having any kids especially upwards of 6 is a huge responsibility. Do any of these idiots with these kids, probably through multiple partners take care full responsibility for those kids? I highly doubt it.
Many millennials have commitment problems and that’s obvious be it a relationship or work and work ethic. the gen z crowd is even worse. They can’t have a relationship because they’re clues as to what gender they are.
From the greatest generation to the worst in 80 years.. sad.
I am convinced that outcomes differ for men vs. women.

I am afraid yes that is what the Sexual Revolution was all about. Abortion is the last line of defense to negate a natural consequence of promiscuity. The election results since Dobbs clearly shows when push comes to shove people want consequence free action.
